The LeatherHistory.eu Foundation aims to map, preserve and share the history of leather & fetish cultures and lifestyles in Europe.
The LeatherHistory.eu Foundation is a non-profit volunteer-based organisation and was registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerces on the 21st of September 2011. The foundation’s work is financed by donations and gifts. Donations cover expenses for the website, digitization fees and specific expenses related to the organisation of leather and fetish history (-related) events.
You can find us online
WebsiteTo achieve its goal, the foundation started this website where it builds a digital archive and shares information and material. A popular feature is the Mister Gallery, containing an online database of European leather & fetish titleholders.
Collection & MaterialThe foundation gathers material related to European leather history and often receives donations to its collection from the European fetish community. The foundation works to disclose its collection via an online Library. In the past we have contributed to the work of journalists, researchers and media producers as well as community based initiatives. Click here to find out more about how to use our library and contribute to our collection.
Mobile AppIn 2014, the foundation launched a mobile app for Android to make information and material more accessible to the general public.
