Nominations are open for the X Awards 2016! The fourth edition of Europe’s annual fetish community awards comes with a new nomination system and the introduction of an award committee. The world wide fetish community can now send in nominations in 8 different categories via www.x-awards.org.

The X Awards aim to place the public focus on people, companies and organizations that have contributed to the development and prosperity of the European gay fetish scene. Through the X Awards, we aim to create a dynamic that contributes to a better future for gay fetish enthusiasts in Europe. We want to help remove the stigma surrounding fetish and work towards tolerance and acceptance within the general society.

For the fourth edition of the X Awards, a lot of changes have been made to the structure, nomination process and scoring system. For the first time, the world wide fetish community will be able to send in nomination suggestions. A large committee of key persons in the scene will then create a short list. During the months of December and January, the general public can once again cast their vote for the shortlisted nominees.

Nomination categories for 2016 are:

 – Man of the Year
For a valuable contribution to the European gay fetish scene.

– Club of the Year
For a socio-cultural organization that strengthened the scene.

– Business of the Year
Honours an enterprise that has supported the community.

– Event of the Year
