The European Confederation of Motorcycle Clubs (ECMC) has announced its Annual General Meeting/Mr Leather Europe 2014 weekend in Berlin (November, 7-9) has been cancelled. The ECMC Secretary posted the following message on Facebook:
Dear Friends and Delegates,
Today I received the information from a Board member of Bikers ohne Grenzen (BoG) that the club does not have the capability to organize the ECMC AGM in November 2014. The reasons are the internal difficulties experienced by the club as a consequence of the death of Oliver Fischer in August last year and the need to structure the newly elected Board of the club.
Last year, the ECMC found itself in a similar situation with the cancellation of the AGM/MLE weekend which was originally planned to be held in Switzerland. The event eventually took place in Padova and was organized by member club Leather Friends Italia. The club received a lot of praise for its organisation of the event.
At the time of publication it is unknown whether another club will step in to organize the AGM/MLE2014 weekend this year.
